Cash For Kids

Cash For Kids

Since 1981 the Cash For Kids appeal has been helping to support the most vulnerable children in our communities. To date the appeal has raised over £15 million helping 1.4 million children.

Last year 117,000 children facing financial, emotional, educational or physical challenges were helped by the most generous donations.

Chris is a long time supporter of this charity and every year teams up with fellow racers to compete in the annual Clyde 1 Cash for Kids Kart race, helping Clyde 1 raise as much money as possible.

Children’s Hospice Association Scotland

Childrens Hospice Association Scotland

Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) is a charity that provides the only  children’s hospice services in Scotland, supporting families with a child or children  with a life-shortening condition for which there is no known cure. CHAS runs two  children’s hospices Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch.

CHAS also runs a home care service called CHAS at Home staffed from both hospices and with a dedicated team in the North of Scotland.

Chris helped raise over £2600 for CHAS at a Karting event at Xtreme Karting in Edinburgh on the 6th March 2012.
